The Floor Is Made Of Lava is all about doing it. Doing it, never looking back, and not considering why. DIY, cause nobody’s ever gonna make it for you.

We were raised in the holy name of mediocracy and low expectations, you see. By our mothers, our fathers, teachers and country. Raised on the countryside, the outskirts of a long forgotten land.

The wind, the ocean, the fields and the no-bullshit people of these unlocked castles, empty streets and smokey bars have grown profoundly in our hearts and manners.

Yeah, we tilted a cow growing up. We also kicked a girl on the shin, just to fall madly in love with her, once our pubes started growing. One day that cow will come back to haunt us, you know.

We don’t take shit and we don’t mind shaking hands with the next guy. We don’t tell him shit and we play the music we like. We don’t like funk.

The lives we live on the road is like re-living the fucking Summer of ’69 each time, and we LOVE it! Our crew is very dear to us, though we forgot to mention them in the one “thank you speech” we ever gave.

Our name comes from a t-shirt, half of us reads books, the other half makes radio. We have local beers on our catering rider and our favorite meal is whatever served, as long as it’s got meat in it. The Smiths were great, but not that powerful in a broader perspective.

We get inspired by different music, we live in a globalised world and take part in general good causes. Politics are not for us, neither is religion.
